I just got married.

I planned my own wedding in less than 3 months. We decided in May of 2025 that we wanted to get married in August 2025, on our 10 year anniversary as a couple. Crazy? Probably. But I did it and I found a new passion for weddings and planning.

My name’s Rachel. I’ve been in the Austin area for most of my life, with some influential time in both Massachusetts and Colorado. One thing that people know about me is that I’m extremely organized - color coded books and clothes, spreadsheets for everything, systems for everything. I had no concern at all about planning my own wedding - my concern was in the execution of it all (I’m also the type of person that would usually just prefer to do it myself).

We had a budget backyard wedding under $5,000 all in. I planned the entire thing with a 120 page binder and printouts of every single layout and mockup, inventory list, table assignments, etc. My family and my friends were able to execute it all flawlessly with the strong planning and coordination that was laid out in the binder. Watching this vision come to life and enjoying our wedding day to the fullest was a dream - one that I have developed a new passion for and want to bring to other diy and budget brides.

Let’s chat, get you organized, and get you married!
